Malham Cove
Malham Cove

Malhamdale is one of the most popular of the Yorkshire Dales and Malham village is often a hive of activity, even in the winter months. In the village itself there is a National Park Information Centre and the Pennine Way passes through the village, which is close to the natural landmarks of Malham Cove, Malham Tarn, Gordale Scar and Janet's Foss. These attractions alone are enough to draw in the crowds but there is much more to enjoy away from the popular paths. One particular draw to Malhamdale is the rich variety of limestone outcrops making the dale and its satellite dales a great place to visit and stay for a short walking break. Apart from Malham other principal villages are Kirkby Malham, Airton and Gargrave.
