Dales Way Accommodation Guide

The Dales Way is a delighful National Trail and as one of the shorter distance walks it is the perfect walk to introduce new LDP converts. The walk officially begins in Ilkley but it does have three seperate spurs for people starting out from either Leeds, Bradford or Harrogate. From Ilkey the walk follows the River Wharfe upsteam to its source near Cam Fell on the Yorkshire Dales. Picturesque Dales villages are passed on the way before crossing Ribblesdale into Dentdale and on into Cumbria with a superb finish on the shore of Lake Windermere. Quite simply the Dales Way is a brilliant walk.
