Peak District Accommodation Guide
The Peak District National Park is a haven for many as it is a wonderful area of diverse upland countryside situated between central and northern England which is surrounded by towns and cites on all sides. Centered in northern Derbyshire it is also extends into parts of Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Staffordshire, and Yorkshire. Visitors are in the millions per annum all drawn to the many natural wonders of the region. There are two distinct areas, the gritstone Dark Peak in the north of the park and the limestone White Peak in the south. Natural attractions include Dove Dale, Edale, Kinder Scout, Hope Valleyand gritstone edges like Curbar and Froggatt. Quaint towns and villages abound like Bakewell, Ashbourne and Hathersage. The park will always attract, it is unique.
