Route Overview & Notes

Route Twenty-two of the Peak District Ethels compilation is a brisk and rewarding 2.8-mile walk starting from Trentabank Reservoir to climb Shutlingsloe — often affectionately known as the "Matterhorn of Cheshire." Despite the shorter distance, the final ascent is steep and offers breathtaking panoramic views.
