Walking the Ethels

Route Overview & Notes

Route Thirty-five of the Peak District Ethels compilation is a short and direct 0.5-mile walk starting near Wolfscote Grange to bag Wolfscote Hill. At just 30 minutes, it's an efficient and satisfying summit tick overlooking the stunning Dove Valley.

Important Note: Previously I had been told by the farmer that there was no permissible access to the trigpoint. However, in April 2026, I was updated by users that the situation had changed and access is now, once again, possible. So good luck with getting this bagged on your Ethels mission; and if anything impedes you, please let me know. Thank you.
