Summary: The Applecake Hill 20 is a challenge walk set up by a local group of gym club members. The route is a 20 mile figure-of-eight circuit of Shropshire countryside taking in woodland, brookland, fields and hills. From the start in Cleobury Mortimer the walk visits River Rea, Bayton Pool, Bayton, Mamble, Wissett's Wood, Neen Sollars, Sturts Coppice, Applecake Hill, Hakenchop Coppice, Knighton on Teme, Woodgates Green, Bickley, Trapnell Brook, Milson Wood, Milson and Southwood Covert.
