Summary
The Dearne Way follows the course of the River Dearne from its source on the 330m contour to the west of Birds Edge. The route follows the river downstream through Denby Dale, Clayton West, through the Yorkshire Sculpture Park near West Bretton, and then passes under the M62 to Mapplewell and Barnsley. It continues through Darfield and then Bolton Upon Dearne before terminating in Mexborough.
