Summary
The Blackmore Vale Path is a long-distance footpath which, by using ancient tracks, circumnavigates the Vale of Blackmore in the counties of Dorset and Somerset, south-west England. From the beginning of the walk at Blandford Forum, the route—when taken in a clockwise direction—visits Winterborne Stickland, Milton Abbas, Dewlish, Tolpuddle, Puddletown, Dorchester, Charlton High Down, Godmanstone, Cerne Abbas and the Cerne Giant, Minterne Magna, Hermitage, Leigh, Yetminster, Yeovil, Sherborne, Stalbridge, Sturminster Newton, and Okeford Fitzpaine before returning to Blandford Forum.
