Summary
A route following wherever possible the towpaths of the Union and Forth & Clyde Canals from Edinburgh through Ratho, Broxburn, Linlithgow, Falkirk, and Bonnybridge. Near the start point is the World Heritage Site of the Old and New Towns of Edinburgh. In Glasgow, the route links into the city’s numerous pathways and cycleways, providing access to the start of the West Highland Way at Milngavie and also the Clyde Walkway. (Source: LDWA)
