Summary
The route passes through some of Kent’s finest landscapes, part of the nationally protected Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. From the seaside bustle of Hythe, walkers explore the beautiful Seabrook Valley, encounter the dramatic escarpment of the downs, pass through unspoilt villages such as Elham, and traverse the ornamental parklands and ancient woodlands near Barham before heading towards the historic city of Canterbury and its cathedral.
