Summary
The Gordano Round, devised by the Gordano Footpath Group, is a figure-of-eight walk initially following the coast path of the Severn Estuary past the Black Nore Lighthouse to Clevedon. Turning inland through the town, the walker then follows wooded countryside to Clapton-in-Gordano. More farmland and woods lead to the eastern limit of the walk at Abbots Leigh, where the route circles back to Clapton-in-Gordano. From here, the walk continues through open countryside back to the start. The guidebook includes four links that can be used to make shorter circular walks. (Source: LDWA)
