Summary
The Grand Western Canal walk runs from Tiverton in Devon to Taunton in Somerset. The first section of the walk follows the towpath to Greenham. At Greenham, the walk joins the Writer’s Way / West Deane Way and changes from the towpath to follow the dry bed of the canal for a short distance to Cothay Manor. Afterwards, the walk continues in parts across the countryside, past canal remains, and beside the River Tone to the finish point in Taunton.
