The Holme Valley Hills and Hamlets Walk is a 10-mile circular route around the Holme Valley to the south of Huddersfield. Beginning in Holmfirth, the route visits the neighbouring hamlets of Upperthong, Netherthong, Thongsbridge, and New Mill. Locations on the walk are familiar to fans of the popular television series Last of the Summer Wine, which was filmed in the area.
