Summary
The Hyndburn Clog is a route created and promoted by the local Ramblers’ Association Group. With over 1,200 metres of ascent, it is quite a challenge. The walk passes through pastures and moorland villages and runs close to several reservoirs. Places visited in order include Rann and Belthorne, Calf Hey Reservoir, Causeway Height, Ogden Reservoir, Holden Wood Reservoir, Hud Hey, Rising Bridge, Mitchell’s House Reservoir, Hameldon Common, Hapton, Read, Dean Clough Reservoir, Parsonage Reservoir, Rishton, and Oswaldtwistle.
