Summary: The Tissington Trail is a permissive way along the former Tissington Railway. It runs north from Asbbourne in Derbyshire as far as Parsley Hay. From the starting point in Ashbourne The route runs past or close to Haywood, Fenny Bentley, Tissington, Alsop en le Dale, Biggin and Hartington before finishing at Parsley Hay. There are plenty of paths leading off from the trail. These include access to popular walks in the region such as Dovedale, Wolfscote Dale and Long Dale.
