Summary: The Wardens Way in the south-east Cotswolds provides a link between the Oxfordshire Way at Bourton-on-the-Water and the Cotswold Way National Trail at Winchcombe. The Wardens' Way makes a point of passing through the villages of Lower and Upper Slaughter, Naunton and Guiting Power while its sister route, the Windrush Way which takes a parallel course to the south also links Bourton-on-the-Water and Winchcombe while keeping itself isolated from any habitated villages, instead visiting the sites of medieval ones long since gone.
