Summary
The Warden’s Way in the south-east Cotswolds provides a link between the Oxfordshire Way at Bourton-on-the-Water and the Cotswold Way National Trail at Winchcombe. The Warden’s Way makes a point of passing through the villages of Lower Slaughter, Upper Slaughter, Naunton, and Guiting Power, while its sister route—the Windrush Way, which takes a parallel course to the south—also links Bourton-on-the-Water and Winchcombe while keeping itself isolated from any inhabited villages, instead visiting the sites of medieval villages long since gone.
