Summary
The Grantham Canal runs from Nottingham to Grantham. While no longer navigable, the towpath remains intact and facilitates a lovely walk through the countryside between the two conurbations. From Nottingham, the walk passes close to or visits Cotgrave, Cropwell Bishop, Kinoulton, Harby, Plungar, Barkestone-le-Vale, Redmile, Belvoir Castle, and Woolsthorpe-by-Belvoir before arriving in Grantham.
