Summary:
The Grantham Canal runs from Nottingham to Grantham. While no longer navigable the towpath remains intact and facilitates a lovely walk through the countryside between the two conurbations. From Nottingham the walk passes close to or visits Cotgrave, Cropwell Bishop, Kinoulton, Harby, Plungar, Barkeston-le-Vale, Redmile, Belvoir Castle and Woolsthorpe By Belvoir before arriving in Grantham.
